# Pressleaf

> Pressleaf is a Chrome extension that saves any web page or AI chat as a clean PDF, made by Chrome itself on your computer. Free with no limits, no watermark and no account.

Key facts:

- Chrome extension (Chromium browsers such as Edge and Brave can install it from the Chrome Web Store). Toolbar button, Alt+Shift+P shortcut, or right-click menu.
- Three modes: Article (just the story or docs page), Whole page (minus pop-ups and sticky bars), and Chat (full ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini conversations, every turn labelled).
- PDFs are made by Chrome's own print engine on the user's computer: text stays selectable, math, code and non-Latin scripts keep their formatting, and pages behind a login work. Page content is never uploaded.
- Removes menus, ads, cookie banners and sticky headers; loads lazy images; prints dark pages in light colors; click-to-remove any part of a page; Markdown export.
- Permissions: reads a page only after the user clicks (activeTab). Pro's "skip the print window" asks for Chrome's debugger and downloads permissions only when switched on.
- Pricing: Free — Unlimited PDFs, no watermark, no account; Article only, whole page, or full AI conversation; Remove any part of the page before saving; Dark pages printed light; paper size, margins, text size, images on/off; Save as Markdown. Pro — $19 once (lifetime) or $9 / year: Skip the print window: one click and the PDF is in your Downloads; Save every open tab as its own PDF in one go; Header and footer with the page title, date, source link and page numbers; Your own file names, e.g. "{date} {title}".
