Skip the copy and paste: Pressleaf for Chrome
The Pressleaf extension saves the open ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini conversation — or any web page, without ads and pop-ups — as a clean PDF in one click. Free, with no daily limit.
Coming to the Chrome Web Store About the extensionHow it works
- Copy the conversation. In ChatGPT or Claude, open the chat (or a share link) and press Ctrl+A, Ctrl+C. Copying a single answer with the chat’s own Copy button works too.
- Paste it here. Pressleaf finds each message, labels who said it, and drops the sidebar, buttons and message box.
- Save. Press Save as PDF and pick “Save as PDF” in the print window — or download the Markdown file.
What stays intact
- Code blocks keep indentation and the language name; long lines wrap in the PDF instead of being cut off.
- Tables keep their columns; on long tables the header row repeats on every page.
- Math is shown as real formulas, and the Markdown keeps the original TeX.
- Any language: your browser’s own fonts print Chinese, Japanese, Arabic and other scripts correctly.

Questions
Can I paste a ChatGPT or Claude share link instead?
Open the link in your browser, press Ctrl+A then Ctrl+C (⌘ on Mac) and paste the page here. We don’t fetch share links for you: OpenAI’s and Anthropic’s terms don’t allow automated copying of their pages, and doing it in your own browser keeps the conversation private.
Is my conversation uploaded?
No. The conversion runs in your browser, and this page is set up so it cannot send data anywhere (its security policy blocks all network requests from the tool). The PDF is made by your browser’s own print engine.
Will code blocks, tables and math survive?
Yes. Code blocks keep their spacing and language label and wrap instead of being cut off; tables keep their columns, and the header row repeats on each printed page; math from ChatGPT or Claude (including \[ … \] and $$ … $$) is shown as real formulas, and the Markdown file keeps the original TeX.
Can I use my ChatGPT or Claude data export?
Yes. ChatGPT’s Export data option emails you a ZIP of your chat history. Open conversations.json or chat.html from it here, pick a conversation, and save it as a PDF. Claude’s export (conversations.json) works the same way.
Is it really free?
Yes: no limit, no watermark and no sign-up. It costs us nothing to run because your browser does the work. By default one small “Made with Pressleaf” line is added at the very end of the file; untick Add “Made with Pressleaf” line at the end before saving and it is gone.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. Paste the conversation, then tap Save as PDF: your phone’s print screen opens, where you can save or share the PDF.
